The Omega Speedmaster watch – worn by Apollo 11 astronaut Buzz Aldrin – was the first watch ever worn on the moon.

Omega recently celebrated the 50th anniversary of the first lunar landing by producing a star-studded event at the Kennedy Space Center, Cape Canaveral. Guests included George and Amal Clooney, Chiara Ferragni and a number of NASA veterans.

Quite Frankly UK and USA worked together on this production conducting guest interviews, filming the event and editing through the night to deliver a highlights cut that was used across the brand’s digital and social channels.
